Helen Rubin nee Simon beloved wife of the late Hy; loving mother of Michael (Dee Dee) Rubin and Laurie (Ron) Stiegel; cherished grandmother of Scott (Laurie) Todd and Brett (Mercedes) Rubin; devoted great grandmother of Lily and Blake; many loving nieces and nephews. Chapel service, Wednesday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. When I think of Helen I think of someone who was full of life. Vegas and casinos in Illinois come to mind. Got to spend some time with her a short time ago over the summer. Glad I did.
